They promised snow!

Tomorrow (Tuesday) was supposed to be a snow day. There was a 70% chance of 3-5 inches overnight. About 3 pm on Monday we had an hour or so have heavy snowfall. But then it stopped.

Now the reports are calling for freezing rain. I want my snow day!

Okay, my rant is over. (Maybe).

Honor Orchestra!

Chewie was selected for Roswell Youth Orchestra: Middle School Honor Orchestra. He is one of three selected from his school. There are about 20 kids. Most, like Chewie, play violin. But there are at least 3 cellos and one bass.

Tonight is their first practice together. There is one more practice next week (on his birthday) and then a performance.

Chewie is the one in the back row in the blue hoodie.

Thanksgiving eleven years ago, my two sisters and I sat down with Daddy and started looking at pictures. We asked him to start going through the boxes and boxes of pictures he had taken over the years (averaging about a roll of film a week!) and start sorting and labeling and sharing them with us. We shared some great memories. But Daddy died 2 months later. Mom went through the pictures, but even she couldn't identify all the pictures.

How do you create a legacy? Do you share your stories and pictures with your kids and grandkids? My Heart Will be remembered is a great place to store those memories. Toothless

My baby girl lost her first tooth. Crunchy is 6. She has had a pretty loose tooth for several days. Tonight she asked Daddy to pull it. We got out the hemistats. Crunchy had to check them out first.

Oh the weather outside is frightful....

We have had pretty nice weather so far. In fact it was 70 degrees today. But then the wind blew in some coldness. And I caught Chewie and crunchy sitting by the fire.

Sam's Club carries great brands like Nerf and Tonka.
