This past week (while on "stay-cation") I've been working with my kids on memorizing Scripture. One verse we talked are working on is
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. I explained it to Crunchy (my 5 year old) but yesterday I found a perfect object lesson for her. In modern times, we don't need light for our path very often. But in the deep, dark hole of Carlsbad Caverns, we definitely needed a light for our path. We didn't do the guided tour, but apparently at one point they turn off ALL the lights. Wow! I can "see" a lot of object lessons there.
