Chest pains--what now?

Today I went to see my doctor. I scheduled the appointment after my last test came back clear. (PTL!) Since about January, I've have intermittent chest pains. So far, my heart and thyroid have come back clear. So today was my follow up. The doctor decided to check for muscle or bone issues. Instead he found a lump of some sort. He asked if I minded if he had a surgeon check it out. (Of course not!) He excused himself and said, "I think I can get you in today". It was already 4 o'clock! That scared me! (Normally a referral takes 3 or 4 weeks in his office!) He wasn't able to get me in today, but I have an appointment tomorrow morning.

So the waiting begins...
