We had the chance to try Sinupret for Kids and we were impressed. Crunchy (the 5 year old) had been facing drainage from the sinuses that caused trouble breathing and a hacking cough. We noticed a difference almost immediately. She was able to breath better and her cough improved immediately. She was not impressed with the taste (cherry flavored) but she did take it without too much fuss.
There is a great article called "How to keep your kids healthy through the winter" by Dr. Bob Sears. One of his recommendations is to use Sinupret for Kids.Sinupret for Kids, developed by Bionorica, is a safe, natural remedy that supports healthy sinus, respiratory and immune function. To our knowledge, no other clinically tested remedies are available today in the United States that support all three functions for children.
Sinupret for Kids is one of the world's leading herbal remedies for upper respiratory health for children age 2 and up. Sinupret has been Germany's #1 most widely recommended and scientifically tested nasal and sinus supports formula for children and adults for more than 30 years.
To buy Sinupret for Kids visit many national retailers, including Wal-Mart, Walgreens and ToyRUs.

Thanks for posting your review!!! We have yet to find our favorite cold remedy. I do like to give my girls (ages 3 & 1) lemon tea with honey - and for the most part they are willing to drink it. It helps soothe their sore throats and the warmth tends to calm them a bit. Warm baths and Baby Vaporub helps with chest stuff. I'm looking for some allergy / stuffy relief they can take safely! I'll have to get some Sinupret!
My 2 year old has allergies and asthma and seems to have a cold half of the year!! my best remedy is to use a humidifier in the child's room every night while they are stuffy!!

I use saline spray to help break up congestion. So far my kids reject this as an acceptable therapy. It helps me though. Our doctor prescribed my youngest an antihistamine/decongestant that I use if necessary when he can't sleep. Hope with summer, we'll be a bit healthier than last winter.
The best cold remedy I have is to get as much rest as possible, and basically just try to sleep it off. Saline drops and a mucus bulb thing are also must haves for little kiddos that don't know how to blow their nose.
I know it isn't easy to use but a Neti Pot works wonders for sinus issues.
My best cold remedy is to have my kids get plenty or rest, lots of clear liquids and delsym at night.

We can't afford a humidifier so when our new adoptive son caught a cold in winter we put a wet tea towel on his radiator instead.
We just use humidifiers and nose spray for the most part. Nothing special.
