The Story: The Beginning of Life as We Know It

Today was the first week of diving into The Story. Today we talked about how The Story started.

1. Understand God's world is perfect.
It is a world of order.
It is a world of variety.
It is a world of beauty.
It is a world for people.

2. Understand God's world is broken.
We have two options when God confronts sin:
A. Confess (agree with God)
B. Cover it up (blame, rationalizing)

These two responses are played out over and over in The Story.

3. God's world will be perfect again.
God has an "undo" button.
End of The Story: God is making everything new.

The big idea:
God's perfect world, now broken, will be perfect again.
