After yhe movie we took the kids to McDonald's for lunch and to play. This used to be a regular (3 or 4 times a month) occurance but money and time constraints have reduced our visits.
On the Happy Meal bags they now have a nutritioanal chart. Yikes!
4 McNuggets: 190 cal; 12 g fat; and 400mg sodium.
Double cheeseburger: 440 cal; 23 g fat; and 1150 mg sodium
Small fries: 230 cal; 11 g fat; and 160 g sodium
So my 11 year old inhaled 830 calorie (with a drink) almost 1400 grams of sodium!
Yikes! I am glad we don't do this very often.

Once in awhile is fine, but holy yikes! Can you imagine the kids who eat that on a near daily basis? :(
